Exploring Blue Mountain with Daisy
Daisy absolutely crushing the hiking trails!
Blue Mountain, Ontario, is a four-season destination known for its stunning landscapes and welcoming atmosphere. But what makes it truly special? It’s an incredibly dog-friendly getaway! We recently visited with our dog, Daisy, and stayed at the beautiful Westin Trillium House, which was the perfect base for our adventures.
Dining with Daisy
One of the highlights of our trip was discovering how many restaurants in Blue Mountain Village welcome dogs on their patios. A standout was Copper Blues Bar & Grill, which even has a dedicated dog menu! Daisy was treated like royalty while we enjoyed delicious food and the vibrant village atmosphere.
Hitting the Trails
Blue Mountain offers a variety of hiking trails, and Daisy was thrilled to explore them with us. The trails range from leisurely walks to more challenging routes, and the views of Georgian Bay and the surrounding escarpment are breathtaking. It was the perfect way to stay active and soak in the area’s natural beauty.
Day Trips Nearby
We also ventured to some nearby towns, each offering its own charm and dog-friendly spots. From scenic drives to quaint shops, there was plenty for all of us to enjoy, and Daisy loved being included every step of the way.
Why Blue Mountain is Perfect for Pet Owners
This trip reinforced why Blue Mountain is such a great destination for pet owners. Between the dog-friendly patios, welcoming accommodations, and miles of trails, Daisy was just as spoiled as we were.
If you’re looking for a place where you can adventure and relax with your furry friend, Blue Mountain should be at the top of your list. Daisy gives it four paws up!
